MINISTRY OF COMMUNICATIONS TECHNOLOGY NIGERIA — Nigeria was the first African country to join the Alliance for Affordable Internet, and a memorandum of understanding was signed between A4AI and the Federal Ministry of Communication Technology in October 2013. The Ministry of Communication Technology is a Ministry created by the administration of President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan to foster a knowledge based economy and information society in Nigeria.
